Sylvia, here. Since I retired from teaching twenty years ago I have often been told that I have a way with words. I attribute that to my mother who always spoke using a lot of imagery. It is easier to imagine something if it has a verbal picture with which to explain it.
I am hoping to learn ways to engage with those who might need my help.

Tina Barner

My name is Tina and I have been writing “unofficially” for more than 35 years. My favorite medium up until this point has been freeform poetry, but I have also dabbled in other types. I enjoy most everything creative. My favorite class was creative writing, during which one of my instructors had several of my writings read aloud during class and told me that I should look for a publisher. I didn’t and I have regretted it ever since. I would like to learn how to ‘branch out’ with my writing and look forward to the opportunity to stretch my wings!
